Camp Monkey Muffin (Los Angeles, CA)

Camp Monkey Muffin offers visual art classes for students entering grades 4-6 and grades 7-8. The program is hosted by Camp Tumbleweed North. Activities include but are not limited to Graffiti Art, Mural Painting, and Found Object Sculpture. Classes are led by teaching artist, Edy Pickens, whose goal is to help young artists cultivate their identities through the creative process. Students’ experiences are guided by their own ideas in addition to a preset curriculum, so each session is unique and catered to the individuals who participate.
