Camp has always been my home away from home. This is a wonderful place to grow and learn about teamwork and the excitement of camping. You make lifelong friends and lifelong memories. I have great memories from canoe trips, hiking trips, campfires, as well as the many other activities available. I looked forward to attending camp every summer since elementary school and returned as staff for many years. Many of my closest friendships were formed in this wonderful place. I hope to send my chil

I have been going to Camp Hanover for six years. It's honestly my favorite place in the world. I would encourage anyone of any age to go to the summer or winter camp it will be one of the best memories in your life.

Two year ago I became the parent of a summer camper. This is a truly different experience - to drop your child off and trust the staff to provide a safe and nurturing experience - and Camp Hanover delivers big time! My daughter who is afraid of ants at home and doesn't spend much time outside except for soccer games - LOVES camp - she sleeps in longhouses and walks in the woods. She eats vegetables and walks outside to get to a bathroom. She goe

There are not enough words to express how amazing my camp experience was at Camp Hanover. I was a counselor while in college and have and will remain dedicated to Camp Hanover. There is never a shortage of things to do. They are constantly expanding into different interest areas. In fact, at the last open house, my daughters fell in love with the horses. There was no horse camp when I was there, but it will certainly be in my daughter's future. I cannot wait! I hope they will make million

You can consider me a "lifer" at Camp Hanover. I love this place to death. It has served as my home-away-from-home for the past eleven years and I would not trade it for any other camp. Camp Hanover aspires to make you feel like you are part of a huge family, welcoming you on your first visit, and hugging you when you leave. I highly suggest sending your kids to Camp Hanover. It has changed my life for the better.

This camp is what i look forward to all year, it's an amazing place to come out of your shell! If you send your kids here, they'll come back with many stories and more confidence. It's a perfect place to get in touch with nature, and realize the beauty that God's laid out before us. They teach us to care about the environment and the people around us, and a lot of strong bonds are formed between friends.

Camp Hanover is a safe environment for children to grow in an adventurous, nurturing, gracious, and loving Christian setting. As a life-long camper and recent employee, my favorite memories are those had while sitting around a campfire, singing songs, hiking through the woods, canoeing down a river, or climbing a rocky cliff, and, amidst all of the fun, learning how to lead a Christ-like life. This camp is an invaluable resource to kids and adults alike. Come see what all the buzz is about!

I spent several summers as a camper, then several more as a counselor during college, and even now remain involved in the ministry of Camp Hanover (as I look forward to the day my child is old enough to attend!), and I cannot recommend this camp enough. The small group camping model that is used is an invaluable way to encourage young people to live the life to which God has called them. In the process of living, encouraging, playing, and even struggling through challenges together in your sma

I attended Camp Hanover as a child and revisited as a counselor in college. I could not recommend the program to parents more as a great resource for fun and fulfillment. Counselors and staff work their hardest to meet every child's needs and meet them where they are when they come to us. Campers and counselors alike come to camp because they want to be there and it is evident in every aspect of this wonderful community.

I went to Camp Hanover as a kid. It was at camp that God came to life and the love and compassion of Jesus Christ was pulled out of the pages of the Bible and put to practice. I was able to see Christianity as a way of life, not merely the Sunday morning sedative I had thought it was. Camp was an exciting place: climbing wall, high ropes course, swimming pools, canoeing, mudslide, nature hikes, overnights, building forts, playing soccer on the field, four-square before meals, cook outs, etc, e

I have done basically everything you can do at Camp Hanover from a 2 day junior to being a Pathfinder and it has been a wonderful experience that introduced me to some great people. The environment at camp is great: a kind community, respect for nature, and great counselors/staff. Fun opportunities like hiking on the Appalachian Trail, swimming, rock wall climbing, nature based arts and craft, etc. are abundant at camp. Being at camp really brings a new appreciation for nature and all of its bea

I have worked with a number of summer camps and youth programs over the past twenty years, and in my opinion, Camp Hanover is one of the best. I've worked with Hanover staff for over a decade, and I am continually impressed by the power of the small group camping model, as well as by the camp's commitment to creating a safe, empowering outdoor experience for all campers and staff.
Campers are grouped by age into coed sets of 12 and assigned two counselors who are exclusively associated with

I've been attending Camp Hanover for more than 45 years--first as a child during family camp weekends with my parents, then as a camper from age 9-17, summer staff for 5 summers, year-round staff for 2 years, and on-going volunteer in a variety of capacities. My oldest and dearest friends are ones I met at Camp and we remain in close contact. It was in this sacred space among the camp community where my faith became "real" as I learned what it means to live as a Christian. Every day, I thank God
