An ecology education and community center helping central Connecticut residents explore and understand the natural world. Hands-on children's activities, exhibits including exotic and native animals, library, gift shop, model gardens and picnic area. Handicap accessible. Located in Mill Woods Park with walking trails, bike route and historic mill sites. Also offers community programs, workshops, field trips, day camps, and parties. Nearby attractions include: Webb-Deane-Stevens Museum in Wethersfield, Dinosaur State Park in Rocky Hill, and the Connecticut Audubon Society at Glastonbury.
