"Our family loves this park! The big playground is definitely a favorite spot. Summer concerts are a blast. The beautiful scenery and endless walking/ riding trails are great. This is a great family-friendly place. Can't wait to ride the paddle boats and kayak on the lake soon. We rented on of the many pavilions at the park this summer and hosted a Dora and Diego scavenger hunt. Despite the heat, it was quite the event, with many places to stage our hunt/treasures and not infringe on other guests space."

Lots of fun-big playground

"The loop around the lake is a fantastic adventure spot for everyone. We recently found turtles and saw a couple of herons nearby as well. Grab your fishing license and you can do a little fishing by the docks or grassy side areas along the lake...be patient though! :-) Sunset Serenades start up real soon on Wednesday evenings. Great place to go with the family for a picnic dinner and fun music. The playground is great (rubber surface) however, I have found that it is very difficult to keep a close watch on more than one child on the play structure. The rock wall there near the benches blocks the view of a portion of the playground...you definitely need to get up and roam about to keep an eye on more than one. It's big and can sometimes be difficult for an adult to reach to the upper areas to help out a little one in need. My kids love it but I prefer to go on a day that's not so crowded, or on the rare occasion that I only have one child with me, so that I can have a better watch of them. "

"Amazing park. Beautiful lake with about 2.5 miles of walking. People walking of all ages, kids, dogs. Places to picnic (need to rent BBQ). Can go canoeing and kayaking. Have done this with my 2 year old. THE BEST PART though is that there is a playground there that is one of the best I have ever seen. Soft board under the playground, different levels slides, climbing and balance beams. We often just go and spend 2 hours in the playground. "

Great Playground. Love this Park

"This park is a regular stop for our family. We love the playground which is geared for all ages, as well as the loop around the lake on a nice day. There is always a lot of energy as you see people running, walking or taking canoes out on the lake. "
