River Bend Nature Center
River Bend Nature Center is located in Faribault Minnesota and hosts 10 miles of trails and 743 acres of prairies, forests, ponds, and rivers! Trails are available for hiking, biking, or skiing and snowshoeing (in winter) 365 day each year from 6 am to 10 pm at no charge. Nature programs are also offered throughout the year for all ages for a nominal fee (often free for members of River Bend Nature Center). Larger events during the year include: Bats, Bones & Bonfires, a Halloween event; maple syruping and our Maple Syrup Fun Run 5K and Pancake Breakfast in the spring; and WinterFest held in February. Summer day camps are available from June through August for children ages one to 16. Birthday parties are also available! Detailed event schedules can be found on www.rbnc.org.
