The Buffalo Museum of Science is a non-profit educational institution dedicated to the study and interpretation of the natural and physical sciences. Its extensive collections of over 700,000 specimens and artifacts represent all facets of the natural world with an emphasis on Western New York as well as man-made objects spanning the globe. One of the best features for kids is the Explorations Gallery. Designed for early childhood development and science learning,Explorationsfeatures fun interactive stations with play themes focusing on a variety of science-based concepts, including energy, space, weather, light, and the environment, and encourages adult-child interaction as well as independent discovery. The Buffalo Museum of Science has installed 3D technology into its 400-seat auditorium! Science and natural history-related films play every day, Monday through Sunday.Paid guests receive one free 3D film with general museum admission,subject to available show times.
