Teatown Lake Reservation is a nature center and 834-acre preserve with 15 miles of easy to moderate hiking trails. A source of wildlife knowledge, our Nature Center is home to a variety of amphibians, birds of prey, mammals, and reptiles. Our unique two-acre sanctuary, Wildflower Island, provides sanctuary to over 230 native species of wildflowers, many of which are rare or endangered. We offer weekend children, family and adults only environmental education programs, a summer camp, school vacation mini-camps, preschool and after school programs, school groups, and more.
