Quogue Wildlife Refuge
Quogue Wildlife Refuge is a 305-acre nature preserve nestled in the Village of Quogue, on Long Island. There are seven miles of nature trails located among a variety of habitats, including the Pine Barrens and deciduous forests, freshwater ponds, carnivorous and cranberry bogs, and the ecologically rare Dwarf Pines. The Refuge also serves as home to permanently injured, non-releasable wildlife, including a Bald Eagle, Red Fox, Bobcat, Owls, Falcons, and Hawks.
