Malabar Farm State Park
This new “green” Visitor /Nature Center offering over 27 interactive exhibits for all ages with solar and wind powered systems. Malabar Farm is an Ohio state park that once was the home of Louis Bromfield Pulitzer prize winning author and international conservationist. Inspired by Bromfield’s vision and following in his footsteps, today's stewards of the Bromfield legacy are making Malabar Farm even more sustainable with some big dreams of their own. Malabar Farm is an actual working beef cattle farm like no other. The Center's unique Ohio Songbird Aviary with native plants ,screened enclosure and boardwalk allow visitors to stroll through this enclosed area and interact with many of Ohio's native songbirds. Stop by the gift shop for that unique nature gift or homegrown farm products like maple syrup, eggs and grass fed beef. Park guests learn about Louis Bromfield, nature, local history, and can have lunch and dinner at our own restaurant or stop by the fresh produce stand in season. Over 10 miles of hiking trails and four well stocked fishing ponds.
