John J. Donnelly Rocky River Nature Center

Nestled deep in the Rocky River Valley, Rocky River Nature Center offers many opportunities to enjoy and explore our natural world. Stand on the deck overhanging the Rocky River and view 90-foothigh shale cliffs where 360-million-year-old fossil fi sh have been unearthed. Along the nature center’s surrounding trails, discover Native American earthworks, investigate a lively wetland habitat, and perhaps catch a glimpse of deer, fox, rabbits and other wildlife. Inside the nature center, talk with a naturalist or view exhibits, learn the latest “nature news,” or take advantage of the many programs about the plants and animals that call Rocky River Valley home.
