The Nurture Nature Center
Beginning Winter 2011, the Nurture Nature Center will offer programming that focuses on education and dialogue of timely environmental topics to encourage personal growth and understanding of issues that affect our changing world. The center, itself, is a beautiful three-story historic building located in downtown Easton that offers ample meeting and activity space and a science theater. The Science Theater at the Nurture Nature Center features NOAA’s (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s) Science on a Sphere, a fascinating three-dimensional video display on a suspended globe that simulates earth and its processes. Other exhibits will include material developed under the Nurture Nature Center’s Flood Awareness project created in partnership with the National Weather Service.
