An Annual Trip for Us!
"We've been going to DW for 3 years now and absolutely love it. It's a super easy ride from the Baltimore area. Could easily be a day trip however, we now spend one night in a hotel nearby. Pay for a full day at the park and you can get into the park the evening before, FREE, for Twilight Hours (3 hours before close). We love Twilight Hours because the park is usually quite empty and the kids can get onto all of the rides quite easily and several times. Park is pretty lit up at night too! In the years we've been we haven't made it to the waterpark area!! The kids are so wrapped up with all of the other fun stuff that we never get there...maybe we'll try it when we head back for our annual trip in a couple of weeks!"
Went for a Great Summer Weekend
"My family and I had our first visit to Dutch Wonderland this last weekend. At first when driving up, I thought this was not our type of place. Once we got into the park, it was a different story. My 3 1/2 year old had a great time, and my 1 1/2 year old was entertained. Trains, boats, cars...all very cool within a 3 1/2 year old eyes. He was disappointed that he was not tall enough for the 'big' rollercoaster, but he did get to have his first experience on the smaller one. To finish off the hot day, we hit the water park. HE LOVED IT! Plan on bringing a swim suit for you and your kids and enjoy getting wet."
