Bays Mountain Park
Bays Mountain Park is a 3,600 acre nature preserve which lies in a natural basin between two mountains. Features include a 44 acre lake, 38 miles of hiking and mountain biking trails, a Nature Center, new Planetarium Theater, and native animal habitats for wolves, bobcats, deer, otter, and reptiles & amphibians.
The park offers nature and planetarium programs for schools, tour groups, scouts, and the public. Picnic tables and birthday party facilities are available. Dogs on leash are welcome (dogs not allowed in animal habitats).
