Hidden Oaks Nature Center
Hidden Oaks Nature Center is in an urban, woodland forest just inside Washington’s Beltway. The center has interactive exhibits, a children’s corner, an indoor turtle pond, a one-third mile loop trail and a Civil War railroad embankment. The park is an excellent place for bird watching, photography and a public resource for local flora and fauna. It is home to Nature Playce, an outdoor play area designed to safely introduce youngsters to the wonders of nature. Hidden Oaks presents over 100 family programs throughout the year.
