Feline Conservation Center

EFBC's Feline Conservation Center, also known as the Cat House, is located in Rosamond, California. Cat lovers of all ages who discover this desert zoo/wildlife museum north of Los Angeles are surprised and amazed at the variety of wild cat species found here (18 as of early 2009). Leopards, jaguars, ocelots, fishing cats, snow leopards, and margays are just a few of the fascinating felines you will find here. We are dedicated to the protection and preservation of the world's endangered felines. Our breeding programs are world-renowned and we partner with other zoos across the country and the world. Memberships start at $20 a year. A family membership ($30) will pay for itself in only two visits for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Memberships also include free admission to other small zoos across the country, a 10% discount in the gift shop, and a quarterly newsletter. The free-roaming peacocks are also a big hit with visitors.
