Music Theatre of Idaho

For over ten years, the MTI has enhanced South West Idaho with cultural offerings in musical theatre. Our mission is to provide professional musical theatre productions at family affordable prices, while providing accessibility to the arts to all members of the community. We have established a wide variety of free and low cost “Arts for Everyone” programs to offer lower income families an opportunity to attend. We also have an arts in education programming for Treasure Valley school children, grades K-12. It has been well established that young people who participate in or attend the arts on a regular basis, have higher standardized test scores, stay in school longer, have better relationships with mentors and peers, lower rates of teen pregnancy and lower rates of negative encounters with law enforcement. The arts are key to the success of our community.
