Opened in 1987 and renovated in 2003, Garfield Park Nature Center offers a walk through Garfield Park’s history dating back to the 1890s. Enter a Victorian parlor and “travel” forward to the present day. Discover the honeybee tree and kids’ corner, stroll through the Wildlife Garden, or just relax with a book or friends by the “lodge” fi replace. Visit with nature center staff and volunteers who are here to make your visits enjoyable. A variety of programs is available to all guests, including the annual Bug City event where bugs are fun and the people are too! The staff
