MISSION
The mission of Autism Tennessee is to enrich the lives and experiences of individuals on the autism spectrum, their families, and their surrounding community through support, advocacy, and education.
VISION
The vision of Autism Tennessee is to create a community where people on the autism spectrum and their families find respect, acceptance, and hope.
We educate by providing resources, information, and emotional support. We’ve built a community that understands your fears and your unique journey first hand. We offer a broad array of educational events that can support your day to day challenges and guide you on your next steps.
We advocate for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. We stay on top of news and policy that affects the autism community and collaborate with the greater disability community to act when necessary both locally and nationally.
We celebrate. You won’t find a lot of misery in our halls. We are a community of hope and healing. We respond to autism as a unique disorder; one with extraordinary facets that reveal itself as gifts and challenges. We celebrate uniqueness and the hope that comes from finding community.
