Metro Richmond Zoo

Hop aboard the Safari Train and take a fifteen minute ride into the African Savannah. Get up close and personal with free-ranging animals while receiving a guided tour. Metro Richmond Zoo houses around 1,400 animals of nearly 150 species and is visited by 25,000-30,000 visitors annually. The zoo has one of the largest primate collections in the United States.
