The Burke Museum features fascinating displays of locally discovered fossils,a full woolly mammoth skeleton, dinosaur bones, tribal artifacts, and ever changing visiting exhibits. This 112 year old museum is young at heart and a wonderful place to learn about natural and cultural history, with an emphasis on the Puget Sound region. Also, keep an eye on their events calendar for fun like their annual Bug Blast, Artifact ID Day, Dino Day, Homeschool Days, and Meet the Mammals.
